Excellent day with textile artist Ann Marie Brown.
Anne Marie showed me some of her wonderful work creating embroidered and gold embellished ceremonial robes for our University.
We made zippered soft pouches from scratch.
Fully lined, we used fusible fleece to interline to give body and fitted a zip.We learnt how to change the shape by altering the bottom corners. Tricky getting my head around working inside out for corners and placing zip
Very pleased with my results!!!
